Thank You Luchessa, From Sweet Jelly Bean

I was nervous when I was writing this post, because my words and presentation might not do this blogger justice. But I pushed these feelings aside and embraced positivity instead.

Where do I start? What shall I say? Well, this blogger is one great inspiration of mine, a motivator, and definitely a good friend from across the globe. Ok, perhaps about 2-3 hours by plane. hehe. ♥

I can’t even remember how we met in the blogosphere, all I can remember now was that we started talking, we clicked, and became like two peas in a pod of all things beauty. Blogging has definitely open up a different world for me, and I’m so thankful that I took this journey since this gave me the chance to meet someone like Luchessa.

Today wasn’t the best day — weather-wise and how the morning started — but what was waiting for me on my front porch, brought a smile, delight, and tears of joy. One of the sweetest surprises I have received — and this has got to be one of the best extended birthday wishes I’ve got, from a very thoughtful friend.

 

But let’s look beyond the present, lets look more into that extra mile Luchessa took, how she’s handpicked all these beauty products for this sweet jelly bean (as she now likes to call me )  — how she adhered sticky notes at the back of  the products to explain what they’re for in English (learning German is now on the menu),  how she included the sweetest birthday message, and how she mixed things up in the box.

From sweets, nails polishes, to makeup and how to make my bubble bath experience more indulgent! This got to be a ‘Luchessa’ branded box! And I’m so grateful and touched for your kindness and for taking the time to put this altogether for me.

 

Furthermore, she has been a great supporter of my blog, especially from the day I said, “right then, self hosting it is!”, she never left this blog’s side. She’s definitely cheered me up when I was going through a few hiccups with the whole blog transition, her two cents have definitely helped me as a blogger.

I feel happy that I get to speak to her, share how our weekends went, send each other tweet shout outs and give each other a little nudge and check how things are going. It’s one of the beautiful perks of ‘true’ blogging with connection a blogger could receive.
