Maybelline Color Show: Bee Nail Art Inspired. Ohh, so nervous about this post because first of all, I don’t have the right tools, no, I actually don’t have any nail art tools whatsoever
and second, these are new polishes I’m using and I was not sure about the consistency and how easy they would be to apply.
Anyway, here goes my contribution for the latest GiG Spotlight Series (#3) called GiG Movie Awards! It’s this fun tag our group GIG (Girls Inspired Group) is currently running and you’re more than welcome to join. You basically post about your favourite movie (in this case, little bean and I) by recreating it into a makeup look, an outfit collage, crafts or even through your baking! And the winner gets that ‘spotlight’ moment of being featured on our blog, Facebook and all over Twitter for one week! Fun, right?
So here’s ours: Bee Movie! We love this cute movie starring Jerry Seinfield and Renée Zellweger. I can’t count how many times I’ve watched this with little bean! There are some funny moments in this movie and I’m sure your little one will enjoy it too!

For my entry, on the other hand, I’m just recreating the colours and added some cute bee nail art! I’m using this new collection (although not new in the US) that I recently came across at my local Boots store – Maybelline Color Show Nail Polish.
Colors – from left to right: Watery Waste, Electric Yellow, Blackout
I won’t talk much about the colours but I will do separate swatches on them minus the nail art in next posts.
Bee Nail Art with Maybelline Color Show Nail Polish

And my bee-inspired nail art is…. buzzzzz please??
I know, that’s the smallest decent bee-looking art I could do on my nail! I need to practice more to get it bee-gger! (Sorry, can’t help it! LOL)

Thank you to the beeautiful hosts: Liss Cope and Debora Faria! You can check out GiG’s Blog or join us on Facebook! Don’t forget we’re on Twitter too!
Would you like to try this bee nail art?

Oh how cute are these nails? I love nail art, I just can't do it as I am neither neat enough nor skilled enough, so I am very jealous of people, like you, who are so good at it. Great post!

Donah, I think that’s an amazing bee for your first time. I have to give you girls so much credit for doing any art on your own cause I know I can’t. It’s beyond cute!

Aww, thanks love! I was really nervous that I’d messed it up, hence it ended up so small! I think I need to buy a nail brush next time and see how it will look
(thanks for the gig love! x)
So cute!!
Very cute! It’s funny how I’m so afraid of bee’s in real life but find them so adorable in movies and such… I would love to try nail art, but I have the world’s shakiest hands! Applying regular nail polish is a struggle for me ! <3 GIG
