Lip crayons are a big part of the trend this year, there’s just too many of them in different styles that it feels like back to (beauty) school all over again. Am I complaining? Of course not! Just overwhelmed, in a very good way. I don’t blame the industry to get hooked with this new approach because it’s cute, chic, can offer precision and very handy when on-the-go.
I was lucky enough to get chosen to participate in a review open call on Facebook by Abbamart (thanks to my good friend Denise @ Harajuku Girl FL for letting me know).

Abbamart is a Korean company, which produces good quality & affordable makeup brushes (that’s the buzz around) under Beau-Makeup & a makeup line under the same umbrella called Belleme Cosmetics. What sets them apart from your normal shopping site is the fact that they’re manufacturer-owned, meaning no third party involved so you get the best product price. Check out their product range and prices here.
I think it’s about time I share this new product called Belleme Cosmetics Lip Crayon in Bad Girl – your deep burgundy soft-textured lip crayon, which offer pure, vibrant color in just a single swipe. A fan of two-toned lips? Bad Girl got you covered.
Bad Girl lip crayon has a creamy texture (softer/creamier than Revlon Just Bitten Balm but not as soft as Lip Butters), smells divine (a pleasant fruity or candy-like smell) and a very rich color of burgundy/red, perfect if you’re crazy about the fall hues, like me!
It’s very well formulated and the color payoff is amazing, plus it’s non drying. You can top it up with a clear lip gloss to oomph up the look or leave it as it is.
I had to admit that with my makeup skills, it was a challenge trying to achieve a perfect finish at first (and this applies to all bold or bright colored lipsticks I’ve tried). But, using a lip liner or a lip brush to apply it, really does the trick.
The swatch above is the true match to Bad Girl shade. (1 swipe & multiple swipes)
My only quibble really is that when it starts to wear during the day, you’ll see that it settles in between the lines, so if that bothers you, you might want to use a primer to prevent this (tried & tested). This will also give you at least 5-6 hours wear with minimal fading and that’s with both eating and drinking involved. I was very impressed, to say the least.
No primer
Belleme Get Your Crayon are lip crayons with a cause this October. To support this month’s Breast Cancer Awareness, every lip crayon purchased, $2 will go straight to Susan G Komen Foundation to help find cure.
So beauties, not only will you be wearing a bad-ass color this season, you’re also be doing something good if you pick one (or two and in this scenario, a third one is never a crowd!). Belleme Get Your Crayon comes in four shades to suit your preference and it’s priced at $9 each. I can’t wait for my order to arrive, watch out for Love Fiction and their brushes, girlies.
I love a versatile, yummy smelling product and Bad Girl is no exception.
