I hope you have a bright morning start of your week gorgeous peeps! Today, is something light and cherry with my mini haul from The Face Shop!
For those who are not very familiar with the name, it’s a Korean cosmetic/skincare brand that’s making its waves here in the West, endorsed by Miss A’s Suzy, while some of their products were also featured on Get It Beauty TV Show in Korea.
A brand that shares the benefits of nature. The Face Shop brings together science and the perfection of nature to deliver the best product for your skin.
Alternatively, you can find more info on The Face Shop here, which became an LG subsidiary not long ago, plus the concept behind the brand. Their site is actually very well-made and easy to navigate.
And at last! They recently opened up a new store at Super Hmart Ridgefield NJ! Yay! We love to go to this shopping mall because our favorite restaurants and food court is located there as well and the abundance of Korean food, snacks, drinks and cosmetics are to die for. Yeah, I kinda love Korean stuff, I must admit.
The only thing I wasn’t able to do was take pictures inside the shop because I felt hesitant that I might get kicked out! I did make a sneaky move and snapped one of their nail polishes stand. Rebel, huh? They have testers for everything so you can knock yourselves out if you want to try ’em all! The shop’s flooring plan is open-type, so there are no corners to hide to take better shots without being spotted by their attentive sales ladies & man ha ha. They can see your every move. 😆
I was so closed to buying the CC cream, which most Asian bloggers have raved about, but decided not to in the end. Honestly, there were so many things to choose from that my brain malfunctioned a little.
But here’s a few things I picked up anyway plus the star buy of this post! The Face Shop Mini Pet Sweet in Fruity Floral. Hand creaming will never be the same again and if you’re not a fan of hand creams, that’s about to change with this cute little thing! $8.00
The fluffiest cotton pads I’ve ever come across. No kidding! There are 80 pads in one box and this costs me $2.00
I’ve always been a fan of eyebrow pencils from Korean brands, one of my favorites from Etude House. So I was curious to try The Face Shop’s Design My Eyebrow in Dark Gray, with slanted brow pencil & spoolie brush. $6.00
I also picked up 2 nail packs (sadly, everything is written in Korean at the back so I have to research more online) one Lemon Brightening & Paraffin Nutrition to add some moisture boost on my nails and cuticles. After all they do need the TLC. You leave this for 10-15 minutes and massage the remaining product in for absorption. $2 each
Update: This nail pack right here has so much potential girlies and might just be a life saver for nail polishaholics or nail art geeks from turning our nails yucky and yellowy! This gave my nails the brightening factor, although I probably need to of more nail pack sessions for it be very visible but this is one promising product! Grab one to try it out.
For this haul, I paid $21.40 including tax (7% in NJ).
So in case you happened to be in the area, I would totally check the shop out. And yes, they are very generous with samples, I received around 12 samples including some of their best sellers BB creams & cleansing foam.
