I’ve been blogging for almost two years now and have slowly noticed a blog pattern that I have adapted since I started this journey. Do you ever feel that you have a specific time of day or mood that makes you feel motivated to blog?
I do. Last year, I considered myself your nocturnal blogger. Like most owls, I was active at night and chattering my heart away socially or cultivating the next blog post. LOL.
It must be the peace and quiet factor. Something you start to look forward to every day when you have a screaming, bouncing or running around baby, who loves nothing but eat and play (or poop!) Ha ha.
But does this blog productivity pattern change?
For me it has and it started when we moved. And it’s visible with my post consistency and interactions on my social channels. I wouldn’t consider this change to be such a bad thing though, and neither should you, if you’re going through the same. We all go through changes and the best way to deal with it, is to find a way to work things around so it still benefits you.
Lately, I take my pictures on certain time of day, write my post after and find time to connect with my Instagram friends & followers in between. The best thing about Instagram is that I can post once and it gets delegated to three of my social networks, Facebook, Tumblr and Twitter, so there’s always something on your timeline or your followers stream.
I also feel more blog productive when I’ve just had a cup of nicely brewed tea, read an inspiring or sweet comment or message from a reader or when the sun shines brightly.
But enough about me, what about you?
When do you feel most blog productive?
