Fimo is a brand of polymer clay, which is used to create Fimo nail art clay canes with different designs ranging from flowers, fruits, animal to a lot more fun shapes. Because cutting Fimo nail art canes can be time-consuming, it’s best to go for pre-sliced Fimo nail art.

Fruit Fimo nail art! Because nothing says summer with them on your nails. I went for a very minimalistic approach especially since this is my very first time to decorate my nails this way.
This Fimo nail art cuties were pre-sliced and almost paper-thin with a flat back. With it being thin, it made the application a lot easier. I didn’t even use any nail glue to make them stick. I just used a bit of the clear polish as the ‘glue’ (you can use your base or top coat too) to stick/place it on my nails then finish it off with a top coat to seal them off.
It doesn’t feel bulky or uncomfortable on my nails, in case you’re wondering, and it comes in this super handy and convenient 12-wheel packaging, containing 120 pieces for you to play with.
What you’ll need:
Point Tweezer
Dotting Tool
Nail Polish (your preferred colors) – I used Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Mint Sorbet as the base color
Base/Top Coat
Nail Glue (optional)
This fruity Fimo nail art reminds me of being on the side of the pool sipping a refreshing Berry Fizz! Now I’m curious how easy this comes off and whether this creates any damage to my nail bed. We shall see!
For now, have fun and if you’re going to give Fimo nail art a try, use this code WEETX31 so you get 10% off your order. (Please note that I don’t earn any commission if you use this code. This is really just for you to save a little ;))
