With springtime coming up, it feels wonderful to see the last remnants of winter fading away. While the new season brings warmer weather, it can also wreak havoc on the skin due to allergies or hay fever. How can you prep your skin? The best way is by opting for skincare products that include beneficial ingredients like humectants and emollients.
To see glowing skin, you can opt to create an effective skincare routine along with a moderated health regimen. This includes exercising, drinking enough water, getting adequate sleep, and consuming a healthy diet.
My go-to regimen is to cleanse, tone, moisturize, and protect. Cleansing removes the surface debris, sweat, and environmental pollutants that are on your skin throughout the day. As a result, it is more important to cleanse especially in the evenings. The first step is to use an oil-based cleanser, which will effectively remove traces of makeup. I then complete the double cleanse with a water-based cleanser like the Wonderland Organics Restore Cleanser. With humectants like organic glycerin that binds water to the skin and skin softening ingredients like aloe and calendula, the Restore will leave your skin feeling refreshed and smooth.

To complete my cleansing regimen, I exfoliate with the Aloe Konjac Sponge once a week for a deep pore cleanse and to reveal brighter skin beneath. This mild exfoliator can be used as is, or with a small amount of cleanser. Massage in circular motions, rinse off with warm water, and pat the skin gently dry.
Immediately after cleansing, I spritz a toner to prevent transepidermal water loss. Because I have oily, acne-prone, and combination skin, I apply a few drops of the Balance Serum all over my face and neck. The citrusy facial oil features organic apricot kernel and jojoba oils, which dry matte on the skin, and organic kukui oil to fight against free-ranging radicals on the skin.
Review on Sublime Serum HERE.
For people with normal to dry skin, I recommend using the Soothe or Sublime Serums. These serums feature organic pomegranate oil, which has polyphenols and omega-5 fatty acids that are incredibly nourishing for the skin.
For optimal results, press the serums into the skin with gentle and upward strokes. During the daytime, do not forget sunscreen to protect against UVA and UVB rays. I recommend using physical sunscreens like titanium dioxide or zinc oxide, as these block the sun’s rays by reflecting them off the skin’s surface. Once a week, feel free to use optimal treatments like facial steaming or masks for extra care and as a luxurious treat!
