How’s your first weekend of the year so far beauties? I thought I would start mine by donning this pretty shade of purple nail art, I called Purple Inspirations. The perfect fit for this year’s Pantone Color, Radiant Orchid, of which by the way I’m super happy about. Imagine all the shades of purple that will flood the beauty wilderness this year? Exciting!
I was in my nail art mode and decided to get my tools out and also try Sally Hansen’s new striping nail art polish. I used Sally Hansen’s striping nail art polish in Black for the first time, Zoya’s Purity for the flowers and OPI’s Love Song from Selena Gomez’s range as the base. I had so much fun creating this one and loved the outcome especially the accent nail.
There are two ways to create the flowers: ( actually the inspiration for this was the baby’s breathe I have on my work station. Yes, it’s not exactly identical but that’s how it started) either draw the stems first and dab the flowers next (I used a nail brush to get that ‘watercolored’ & textured effect) or dab the flowers first and then draw the stems after. I chose the latter.
Whichever one you pick, choose the one you’ll be comfortable with and be creative. Enjoy and share your creations!
Happy painting!
