Ok, I’ll put my hands up and say I’m guilty because this Maybelline Master Glaze Blush Stick is totally an impulse buy more than anything else back in Decemeber. Come to think of it, I did have a coupon to use towards it but still, did I really need a blush stick? Let’s see.
Beauty products for this year have been flooding the beauty market endlessly and it has actually overwhelmed me! Goodness. So many beautiful shades and new makeup concept enough to make a beautyholic drool, or hoard in some case.
Maybelline New York recently launched Master Glaze Blush Sticks along with Master Hi-Lights in different finishes. The blush sticks are called Glisten Blush Sticks due to its subtle shimmer, which is definitely a good thing because I’m not such a big fan of in your face glitters.
I was torn between Just Pinched Pink and Warm Nude but in the end, went for Warm Nude because it’s one of those shades that I don’t have a lot (I think…)
Maybelline Master Glaze feels creamy and glides on the skin when applied. And the good news is, Warm Nude can easily be used as your luminizer or highlighter or even a bronzer for that much needed goddess glow in the winter.
It doesn’t cake and it seems to last longer than expected throughout the day! With it’s handy packaging (a twist up) you can easily retouch with no issues. And a big plus for me, no distinctive smell! Hurray for those with sensitive noses, like mine! Hehe
Maybelline Master Glaze in Warm Nude swatches below show one swipe and multiple ones.
The color is also buildable so feel free to be creative about it and turn it into a multi-tasker. I’m sure you have makeup tricks up your sleeves.
Towards the end of the day though, I noticed a little bit of oiliness on my cheeks, which I’m not keen on. Otherwise, Maybelline Master Glaze Blush Stick is a good addition to your collection especially if you’re looking for a blusher or highlighter and is packaged for your convenience. This retailed around $9 but I’m sure you can get it cheaper over at Harmon’s or Bed Bath and Beyond. Browse around.
Do check out CVS since they always have an offer on for this brand. And on that note, watch out for my musings on Maybelline’s The Buffs. Yep, going nude is the ‘in’ thing i this year.
Q: What have you picked up from the new Maybelline range or what would you try out?
