Guess what polish this birthday bean is rocking on her nails today? The much-loved Zoya’s Pixie Dust. There are two reasons why I love Zoya. Not to mention that their nail polish remover is my nails bff. First, they’re 5 FREE, which is a big thing in my books and second their nail polish formula is just freakin-tastic. And I’m sure a lot of beauty, fashion or nail polish-aholics will vouch on that. (5 FREE means no harmful chemicals such formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, dbp, toluene and camphor) When Zoya did a BOGO offer last year, thanks to Natasha from BellezaKisses for sharing it on my feed, I knew I had to do something, like BUY. Ha ha. I picked up a few and 3 of them were from the PixieDust collection. I mean 6 shades for $22 with shipping included, can’t be that bad, right? And what can I say, textured nail polishes really swept me off my feet last year. How about you? Instead of swatching the shades individually, I wanted to do something more fun. You can probably guess by now what nail art I came up with. I have to say that I enjoyed every second while finishing this nail art up, from dotting the thread-like effect to taking pictures for this post. There are many ways to create a Denim nail art, and I guess, that’s what make nail art creations beautiful. You can make every design unique and your own. If you have pointy tip dotting tool or tooth pick even, you’re good to go. I used a striping tape for straight lines like the pocket-shaped on my accent nail because I suck at making straight lines. Even if my life depended on it! LOL. Anyway, without further adieu, meet Zoya’s Tomoko, Kerry and Sunshine Pixie Dust in action. My first attempt on Denim inspired nail art.
Q: What’s your favorite from Zoya’s PixieDust collection or from their range in general?
