If you’re a sucker for glitters and have always wanted get creative with them, then this glittered vase DIY might be a great project for you.
It’s simple to do and the tools you need won’t cost you an arm and a leg. Believe me. If you have a Dollar Tree or store nearby, you can easily find all the things you need for this DIY vase. Love to decorate your work station or dining table with fresh flowers in a pretty vase? Got a spare vase or even glass bottle hanging around that looks like a perfect decor? Try this one out.
Here’s what you need:
I picked up these glitters from Dollar Tree for a dollar (2 in a pack) and the glue sticks (4 in a pack) for a dollar. Don’t you just love a good deal?
Vase #1
I recycled this apple juice, which I bought for $1.96 and made it into this cute glittered vase. The glue stick is handy for making precised lines below, which actually reminds me so much of a nail art brush. Don’t you agree?
If you want the glitters to be fall-out proof, you need an acrylic spray sealer (preferably the gloss finish one) to seal the deal. I bought Aleene’s Spray Acrylic Sealer Gloss Finish 6oz from Amazon for $6.57 and this worked just fine.
