Oh hey, it’s finally Fri-yay! And we’re kicking off October with something fun, creative and washi inspired.
As you might have seen before here on my blog, I’ve fallen in love with washi tapes. If only I could washi-fy my little work station, I would! But then I’d be in trouble with our landlord. LOL.
So for now, I’ll stick to something that won’t get me into trouble. Hangers! I’m not sure how it all went, but one day I just started washi-fying this wooden hanger I found while sorting out my closet. I honestly wasn’t sure how it would turn out, yet I kept going!
It’s actually super easy to do (see 2 steps below) and picked my favorite floral washi design I bought from Silent Poetry Arts back then.
Here are the stuff I used:
Wooden hanger
Your fave washi tape design
Scissors
Mod Podge (Matte Finish) / brush
The Mod Podge in matte finish worked very well in sealing my work so no peeling incidents later. And voila!
So if you’re not sure what to do this weekend and you’re stuck at home, perhaps this fun washi project will keep you occupied?
Have fun!
