I have a skincare confession. While I follow through a rigorous beauty regimen for my face, when it comes to making sure I smear lotion on my body to keep it moisturized and hydrated all day long, I’m a bit of a slacker. Of course, this did not help with my eczema issues before. Over time, I realized that if I wanted to keep the dry patches at bay and maintain a healthy glow especially now that the season is changing, I needed to step up my lotion-slathering game.
It might come as a surprise to most of you knowing to see that I only have five different types of hand and body lotions that I tend to indulge myself in, when as a beauty/skincare blogger, I should have more, right? I supposed that’s proof right there that this was something I didn’t focus on as much. But once I started to catch up on moisturizing my skin day and night, I see improvements that can’t be ignored, especially the nourished and glowing result on my skin.
So without further adieu, let me share with you our favorite hand and body lotions that would also be great for all skin types!
1. Tatcha Indigo Soothing Hand Cream
I LOVE this! My skin feels the same way and my husband wants me to buy him another one. Tatcha Indigo Soothing Silk Hand Cream is not only a winter savior, this can also be your knight and shining armor all year round due to its lightweight texture and quick absorbency. This hand lotion is not just a pretty face, it’s rich in anti-inflammatory Indigo, liquid Silk and Squalane, which help soften and soothes irritated skin. May I add that we love that refreshing subtle minty scent. And as far as the natural blue hue appearance, don’t worry, it disappears upon application. It comes in a travel size, which would be perfect on the go.

2. StriVectin SD Advanced Intensive Concentrate For Wrinkles & Stretch Marks
Now this one, you can either use on your face or on your stretch marks, which I have, tons of them, on my belly. Ah, motherhood. Don’t worry I won’t be flaunting my (still) flabby belly here but what I will say is that, after using this cream for over a month, I noticed positive changes such as my skin feeling smoother than it used to be although my stretch marks are still clearly visible. I haven’t tried this on my face yet because I’m worried that because it’s richer and thicker than my usual face cream, I might end up breaking out, especially with summer in full force and my skin oilier than usual. On my body, however, the richness feels great since I require more hydrating around the stomach area and this also absorbs quickly, leaving a hint of floral scent. It’s also non-greasy or non-sticky, so that’s a plus.
This has a special formulation, Collagex-CE Complex, which targets Collagen III, known as ‘youth collagen’ for powerful anti-aging benefits. Say bye-bye wrinkles.

3. Wonderland Organics Indulge Lotion
You all know that I love Wonderland Organics Skincare Line by Alice (yes, the name fits perfectly) as per my review of her Sublime Serum before and Indulge Lotion joins the ranks of must-try from her collection. Indulge Lotion has a faint smell of vanilla, a little sweet, soothing lavender, geranium, rose, which makes the overall aroma calming and indulging to your senses, not just your skin.
In fact, Indulge Lotion is perfect on hot summer days because it’s super lightweight, the consistency is runnier out of the bunch here, and it’s excellent in soothing any redness or irritation you may have. It worked on my flared up skin due to an eczema episode on my back. So, yes, knowing that this works on my sometimes irritated skin makes me so happy since it’s all natural, organic and packed with skin benefits from the purest and handpicked ingredients and perfectly infused essential oils.

4. The Face Shop Perfume Seed Body Milk With Rosehip Oil and Shea butter
I dropped $20 for this body milk while browsing their official store in Ridgefield Park, NJ and it was worth it. Clearly, I love using this product. It promises velvety, soft skin, who wouldn’t want that?
Compare to the rest of the products featured in this post, this is highly fragranced and might be overpowering at first, but once the lotion is absorbed, the smell becomes more bearable and fades gradually into a beautiful scent of roses in Springtime. You’ll also love the cooling sensation on application while the texture might feel a bit runny, it never stops me from using it. I’d say, apply sparingly and start with a little amount and build up later if you want to.
This is also a 5 FREE mild product for all skin types. No parabens, benzophenone, mineral oil, animal raw materials or silicone.
Ingredients: Jojoba seed oil, jasmine extract, Rosehip Oil, Shea butter, glycerine, Vitamins A & C
How much: $20/300 ml (in store)
Where to buy: Cosmetic-love (online) $16.95 FREE shipping
Last but not the least and a family favorite especially for my little bean….
5. TotLogic Body Lotion
My son and I both suffer from eczema as I’ve mentioned already and depending on the season, the dryness and itchiness can get worst, so I have always been on the hunt for the right moisturizer especially for him. I can’t count anymore how many trial and error we’ve gone through on an array of products, including prescribed topical creams. So, coming across Totlogic Body Lotion was a delight because this has worked well on his skin and mine especially with the warmer weather and when I want something refreshing and lightweight on my skin.
As for my son, his legs have improved dramatically, and he’s scratching less, so I’m looking forward how this will help us get through the winter. This lotion is sulfate, phthalates free, paraben-free, DEA and PEG free and contains natural essential oils and made with moisturizing plant-based botanicals. It has a natural and very light scent that I can’t get enough of, and it makes his skin feels soft and nourished!
