So what makes Kari Gran Three Sixty Five SPF 28 our favorite sunscreen? Find out below.
Pop quiz time: what would your super power be? And why?
Without hesitation, I would pick Superman’s Kryptonian DNA. Forget his ability to “leap tall buildings in a single bound,” fly birdlike, or repel bullets. I want Superman’s ability to fearlessly absorb sun in full blast and turn those Ultra Violet A(ging) and Ultra Violet B(urning) rays into something positive for mankind.
Like newspaper reporter Lois Lane, I’m 100% susceptible to sun damage. In fact, I have a souvenir (wah wah) sunspot from vacation a couple of years ago. Since then I’ve been really adult about preventing summertime sun overexposure. I wear big floppy hats, foundation with SPF, and spray myself down with sunblock before laying poolside. So that’s my summer routine, but what about Fall, Winter, and Spring? The sun doesn’t take a vacation because you’re not in a swimsuit; it continues to shine harmful UVA and UVB rays all year long. Scary!
Which is why Kari Gran’s Three Sixty Five SPF 28 is the perfect solution and the best way to protect your face from everyday sun damage. It’s so easy to incorporate into your morning routine. After washing my face, I applied my usual moisturizer (or you can try Kari Gran’s Hydrating Essential Serum) and followed with one pump of Three Sixty Five. That’s full face protection for the whole day. The mineral block has a Sun Protectant Factor (or SPF) of 28 which will block about 97% of the sun’s harmful UVA and UVB rays.
You won’t catch artificial beachy or coconut or Malibu bay breeze notes from the formula. Three Sixty Five is more of a nutty, gender-neutral fragrance, which is great for the guys as well. The ingredients are all easily pronounceable and recognizable, like macadamia nut seed, avocado, and beeswax. Some of which are even organic and non-GMO.
The formula isn’t greasy like drugstore-bought sun block, which always seems to bleed everywhere (I usually have to blot sunblock off my face with a beach towel or wipe it off my can of soda, beach bag, lip gloss tube, yuck). Shake well, and Kari Gran Three Sixty Five dispenses white and disappears as soon as it’s massaged into the skin. It’s not heavy or mask-like. Three Sixty Five feels more like I’m applying a luxurious, essential oil. It’s a definite and positive change from my usual drugstore facial sunblock.
Since Three Sixty Five is a mineral sunblock, it doesn’t need to be applied in advance. Which means you don’t need to hide under an umbrella for twenty minutes before it starts working. Sun protection begins as soon as you put it on. The active ingredient zinc oxide is like an instant sun shield. Even the bottle works to protect contents. It’s made of a dark violet MIRON glass which blocks light and severely reduces product decay. Three Sixty Five is also free of controversial shelf stabilizers and parabens.
Shield yourself from fine lines, sun spots–all premature signs of aging with the super, sun-blocking power of Kari Gran’s Three Sixty Five SPF 28. It only adds 30 seconds to your morning routine and will keep you looking like you 365 days out of the year!
