This post is long overdue. But as they say, better late than never! Enjoy!
I never thought I would ever use this type of lip moisturizer especially the color tangerine. I am very particular when it comes to what I apply on my lips, and over the years, I had my share of lipsticks/glosses shopping-gone-crazy moments where My mom used to ask me if I was starting my own drugstore or something. Most of them, I haven’t even used and just ended up passing them on to her. Have you had moments like this?
So what about Etude House Miss Tangerine Follow Me Tint #2? Why did I choose thee? Well, apart from it’s a Korean brand, I love its uniqueness with a twist of being simple at the same time. Yes, I know that they are well-known for its princess-y and cute packaging plus shimmer and glitters but still it doesn’t change this fact.
Being a moisturizer lip tint with SPF 13 was also one of the reasons that I picked this one finally. Plus the price was pretty good too at $8.40 from cosmetic-love on Ebay! I could probably have played it safe with the Follow Me Tint #1 (Pink) but I thought hey, just for today, I’d be unpredictable.
Not only that it just feels like it melts as soon as it touches your lips but it has a really nice tangerine-y scent to it. The color seems very lively but once on your lips, it simply adapts to them, so you get this very moist lips (that lasts for a long while by the way) with a subtle orangey tone. And unlike other products I’ve tried before, this isn’t sticky, doesn’t go all clumpy or have any undesirable smell or aftertaste. And there’s just enough moisture for my liking. It creates that natural happy look.
On the other hand, if you like the more vivid colors and all things that glitters, then perhaps this isn’t the right one for you. However, you might still want to keep this handy because this can definitely cheer you up on a rainy day!
That’s the Etude House way!
What’s your favorite Etude House lip tint?
