Welcome to Weekend Mani!
The time when I paint my nails because it makes me happy.
I hope you’re all doing fine this weekend. Sorry to post this a little bit later than usual but I still feel absolutely like p**p since midweek while nursing a cough and cold. It seems that little bean and I caught some type of virus and since then we’ve been cooped up in the house. I’ve been sneezing like there’s not tomorrow.
Moving on. So, this design, of which I call ‘watercolour effect’, is a spur in a moment thing. The thing I love about nail polishes is that you can combine different colours (even from the last season’s collection) and you can create different styles or nail art just like the above. This was very easy and did not require anything but the nail polishes itself. So if you’re feeling adventurous next week, why not try this one out? It’s summery, that I can tell you much. 😉
I’ve been telling myself that I have to use up all my polishes and sticking to this resolve. Wish me luck! LOL. I added a little bit of matte top coat to make the watercolour effect realistic but still so-so about it. Then I decided that hmm, what about if I style it differently? Hence the last two pics. I think I much preferred the first one, but what about you? Have you done anything lately with a burst of colours? Do share!
