It’s Monday Mani all over again beauties! And today we’ll just go for something easy-peasy but still pretty, especially if you don’t have the time to get all artsy with your nails this week. A simple base (say favorite hue of the year or all-time) and then pick your glitter nail polish equals Glitter French Mani. This combo always do the trick, even for short nails.
Speaking of glitter, I came across this multi-colored glitter polish by China Glaze during one of my Harmon’s Face Values visit and scored this for $4! I believe this was part of their Holiday 2014 Twinkle Collection. There were other shades of course, but this one was calling out my name.
I used Skin Food Milky Creamy Polish in Lavender as base, which I featured in my recent Beauteque’s Head To Toe Milky Beauty Bag unboxing. In case you’re curious, this nail polish is opaque with just one coat and applies beautifully. I also had a good 3-day wear with no chipping, so that’s pretty impressive since normally things would start chipping off.
I think China Glaze picked the perfect name for this glitter nail polish, Dancing & Prancing. There’s so much going on with this polish (in a good way) that it was really hard for my camera phone to capture everything.
Nevertheless, this was a great addition to my stash and can’t wait to play with it with different shades and share some nail art inspiration. Stay tuned!
