Admit it, you want fuller brows. I seriously do and I haven’t met someone yet who doesn’t. Unfortunately my overplucking years has finally come to haunt me and now I have to deal with short, (add straight to that) noticeably sparse brow hairs. If I could find a time machine, I would go back to my 15 year old self and say, girl, you want to leave them brows alone and let them go wild or bushy even, you’ll thank me later.
The good news though, overplucked brows are now less of our worries, thanks to innovative and effective beauty tools and makeup products you can find at Ulta Beauty that actually work and give us fuller a la Cara Delevinge or Lily Collins brow effect.

While my brows are far from looking fuller any time soon, this beauty bean can only try her luck with the bold brow trend with a little help from Anastasia Beverly Hills brow products from Ulta Beauty.
Anastasia Beverly Hills are one of those brands that doesn’t really require an introduction because you just know it. Thanks to the never ending buzz from Youtube gurus, makeup artists and beauty bloggers alike, who have raved up and down about her brilliantly executed and formulated products – especially the best seller and often considered as the holy grail brow product, Brow Wiz. And ladies, the hype is for real! And from now on, I’m going to dub this the Wiz-ard.
It’s obvious why this brow product is getting all the love and spotlight, with its ultratrim mechanical pencil, you’ll be able to mimic short, fine hairs to fill in your brows and the smear-proof formula means, your brows are on fleck all day!
Feel free to cringe looking at my short, straight brow hairs, where at one point, I had the half brow blunder from getting carried away with the tweezer. I’ve been nursing my brows like a baby for over a month now and it’s taking so looong to grow back, especially towards the end!
( Before Anastia Beverly Hills magical brow products! )
I’m no make up artist nor I’m shy to admit that I suck at drawing but somehow I managed to create decent bold brows using the Brow Wiz and other must-try brow products from her collection.
From L – R: Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz (Dark Brown) $21, Highlighting Duo Pencil (Shell/Lace) $23, Clear Brow Gel $22, Brow Powder Duo $22
So I’m very thrilled that I can get away with my brow hairs current condition and still be able to create different brow looks without pulling my hair out – almost literally. I think this whole bold brow trend is really starting to warm up to me.
After putting these products to a test with my oily face and makeup skills, I’m ready to invest $21 for this Brow Wiz and then get the Clear Brow Gel after since this really does a great job holding and taming my wild brows together!
I also like the Highlighting Duo Pencil (mine is in Shell/Lace), which is a double-ended pencil with shimmer and matte texture on both ends, the former to illuminate browbones for that I got my perfect arch on look and the matte finish for a softer highlight. The Shell Lace Shimmer actually works perfectly for me because this is yellow-based flesh tone and iridescent gold, which compliments my skin tone and current hair color! So it blends beautifully. And we just love that, don’t we?
You can treat them brows at Ulta Beauty ladies (and gents!)
Have you tried Anastasia Beverly Hills products before? What do you think?
