You probably know this already, but the skin around the eyes tell the first signs of aging. I know, it sucks. While getting old is something I’m not afraid of, aging gracefully is definitely on top of my list. Thankfully, the future is bright due to the advancement of skin care over the years; there’s seem to be an answer for everything. Want an anti-aging device with superpowers? Look no further than SpectraLite EyeCare Pro!
Apart from enlarged pores, hyperpigmentation, and the occasional adult acne breakouts, one of my main skin concerns is fine lines and wrinkles (eek!) around the eye area. Long working hours and lack of sleep seem to be the norm when you work from home full-time and juggling the Mom life, which all contribute to how my skin behaves in the end.
So given the chance to try SpectraLite EyeCare Pro was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up, knowing this could help finally resolve my main skin woes.
Comes with a storage bag, head strap, and a universal USB charging cord.
The SpectraLite EyeCare Pro delivers proven light treatment at-home therapy to bring back your youthful-looking, well-rested eyes. The man behind this modern marvel is none other than Dr. Dennis Gross. You may have seen him on Dr. Oz’s TV show or Vogue magazine, a highly-acclaimed dermatologist with over two decades of work which started as a cancer researcher.
SpectraLite EyeCare Pro features 72 LEDs that are proven to promote the growth of collagen within the dermis of your skin. The more collagen in your skin, the less fine lines and wrinkles you have. Sounds good so far!
About to power on…
Three minutes a day. That’s all the time that you need. Unboxing was quite an experience as I took a closer look at the SpectraLite EyeCare Pro in my hand. I could swear I was looking at a cutting-edge fashion piece from the future as if someone carefully carved a Daft Punk helmet.
This is much lighter than it looks and with the gel-covered insides, makes this device very comfortable to wear and fits universally. It is also FDA-cleared and comes from a company that PETA recognizes as cruelty-free.
To get the best out of this light therapy device, I make sure that my face is clean (no creams* whatsoever) before I start my 3-minute beauty treatment. It comes with a super handy automatic shut-off feature after the three-minute period just in case you happen to doze off. I like using this in the evening but have also used this in the morning, while I’m enjoying my cup of Joe before work.
Note: Avoid using any creams as they will block the light transmitted by the SpectraLite EyeCare Pro, reducing its effectiveness.
Once the minutes are up, I commence with my usual beauty regime starting with my eye cream or serum, a very important step after this light therapy treatment.
Finding a way to reduce wrinkles not involving needles (or surgery for that matter) sounds like the holy grail on my books. The SpectraLife EyeCare Pro works to motivate your body to do the work, bringing back your radiant skin from within. If there is one sentence that summarizes the SpectraLite EyeCare Pro, it comes from Dr. Dennis Gross himself and his philosophy of treating a woman’s skin. In his own words, “I restore the way you looked years ago. I don’t aim to change the way you look.”
In a world full of people who want to make your face appear like someone it’s not, it’s comforting to know that there is someone out there whose mission in life is to help you keep your unique beauty.
While it’s too early for me to tell of any significant cosmetic surface changes, I’m looking forward to seeing positive results in weeks to come. WATCH THIS SPACE!
