How does hair grow? Hair grows in stages and can it’s normal for some hair to be shed during these stages to allow for new hair to grow.
There are three stages of hair growth, these are the anagen cycle, the catagen stage, and the telogen phase. In the first phase your hair grows, in the second phase it separates from the hair bulb and in the final phase, it is shed. This process takes a long time and each hair has its own phase which is why some hair falls out while others are still growing.

How does hair grow back stronger? The most important vitamins that help to keep your hair growing and healthy are vitamin C. This vitamin strengthens hair and promotes growth. It’s vital for healthy skin, hair and nails. Vitamin C is also an antioxidant which helps to remove free radicals that damage body tissue.
Biotin
Biotin will give you longer and healthier hair and it helps your body to make glucose as well as breaking down amino acids and proteins. To get this in your diet eat avocados, eggs, peanut butter and salmon as well as many other foods.
Vitamin A
This vitamin gets your body to produce sebum which is an essential oil for your hair. Without it, your hair will dry out and break. Eat lots of leafy greens to get your vitamin A, it also helps to make your skin grow. However, don’t eat too much as it can actually slow down hair growth!
B vitamins
B vitamins help to keep us maintain a healthy body and are important for hair growth. If you’re feeling weak or tired or are bruising easily, chances are you may be low on B vitamins. Include meat, eggs, nuts, vegetables, and grains in your diet to get the essential B vitamins.
Niacin
This vitamin is great for your scalp and stops hair from becoming brittle and thin. Eat chicken, turkey breast, tuna, and many other foods to get a daily dose of niacin.
Vitamin E
This is an antioxidant and also repairs damaged tissue. By applying to your scalp as well as eating, vitamin E increases the blood flow to your scalp and gets your hair to grow, making it thicker and stronger.

Iron
Without a good intake of iron, you’ll feel sluggish and weak. If you notice your hair becoming dull and dry chances are you need some iron. Eat red meat and spinach as well as many other foods to get a good dose of iron in your diet.
