If you’re constantly on a lipstick watch for the next best thing, then granted you’ve seen butter London Bloody Brilliant Lip Crayons Collection already, if not own one or two. I got the chance to try seven flattering shades enough to make me say oh-la-la and my, it’s bloody brilliant indeed, and I’m excited to share the swatches and a fabulous international giveaway at the end of this post.

Let me tell you something, I have never opened 7 lip products in one sitting before, this is a first for me, and every time I swiped one on, I couldn’t help but be amazed how freaking-tastic this collection is. For $20 a pop, well, it better be, right? Of course, not all $20+ something lip product lives up to its price tag or hype as much as we want it to, but I think butter London hits the right spot and this might be one of the best and worth investing lip crayons out there.
I own 15 lip crayons (that I’m aware of) from different brands and as much as they took a shine to me, this collection really stands out in many ways. The shades, the packaging presentation, the added built-in sharpener, the creamy formula and lacquer-like shine, what’s not to love? And yes, you’ll find shades in this mix that can easily become as Fall favorites – check Ruby Murray and Toff below. Lovely, isn’t it?
The creamy consistency is perfect that it glides on your lips without dragging your skin, the color payoff is surprisingly impressive with one swipe, it smells deliciously minty and the finish really makes your lips look super juicy without it feeling heavy! And oh, I must not forget to mention that it’s non-sticky.
If you feel like the colors and the juiciness look over the top, you can tone things down by placing a tissue paper between your lips and slowly press down. The color stays on and even sans the juicy factor. This trick looks beautiful with Toff, I must say.

Along with the highly pigmented color and full coverage offering of a lipstick, butter London Bloody Brilliant Lip Crayons also excelled in the TLC department with Mango Seed Oil and Marula Oil to offer your lips moisture boost, Niacinamide to maintain the skin barrier for smoother, more even lip tone and is also formulated to provide antioxidant protection.
I think Bloody Brilliant Lip Crayon shades are beautiful but I’m really drawn towards Teddy Boy, as an everyday wear, Disco Biscuit, which helps brighten up my mood with that pink/lavender hue, and then Toff, a darker choice of color for a smart and sexy vibe.
Tea With The Queen has to be my least favorite as I look washed out wearing it alone but it works fun with the other shades if you like the gradiation K-beauty lip trend. Trout Pout is without a doubt a fun, summer-appropriate coral, while Primrose Hill Picnic is clearly for the bold at heart and then you have Ruby Murray, a berry lovely shade and your LBD’s partner in crime on a night out.
Now over to you, which of these shades would you love to try? Let us know in the comments below.
Shades up for grabs (pick 3): Tea With the Queen, Teddy Boy, Trout Pout, Disco Biscuit, Primrose Hill Picnic, Toff, Ruby Murray
