When wishtrend unveiled their latest Wishbox 15 Cosmic Bloom, I got so excited I asked one to be reserved just in case it run out when I woke up! Although this box is clearly a sampler box — it contains deluxe samples and yes, this should be the definition of deluxe samples, where you are getting products that its equivalent almost to a full size amount. You’ll see why.
The majority of the products in wishbox 15 Cosmic Bloom are unknown to me, which is a good thing because now this box just turned into little treasures. This consists of makeup, skincare and fragrance, to cater to our beauty needs, almost from head to toe. Did I mention that I also love the purple box it comes with? This will be very handy later on for other stuff.
Here’s my first impression.
Gehwol Salve for cracked skin (20ml)
‘Caring ointment for excessively dry, hard, rough and cracked skin’.
This smells almost identical to Gold Bond’s foot ointment, minty. And you know how I feel about minty freshness. I LOVE it! This comes in perfect timing because my feet are definitely in need of TLC and they’re drier this season and I hate the fact that my heels feel so rough! Gehwol Salve does the trick while leaving your feet cooled. Actually, my hubby likes this too and uses this ointment. It’s a win-win, right?
Max Clinic Vitamin Massage Oil Foam ( 3ml x 10 packets)
Now where do I begin? Eureka??! Because this is some good stuff right here and I can tell that once this runs out or before it does, I will hunt this down and get the full size amount. This is super gentle on my sensitive skin, takes off your make up (waterproof products included) with no issues and it leaves the skin bright and clean! I was thrilled to see the outcome after trying it the first time. And it does not dry the skin either and that has to be on how it’s formulated, being an oil/massage foam. One noticeable improvement is that my skin always feel softer after moisturizing and when waking up in the morning since I started using this. A star product in this box.
Panier Den Sens Liquid Soap (3m x 3)
Ok, now I was confused at first whether this was a hand soap or body soap but after thorough reading on wishtrend’s description (which I should have done in the first place!), it’s for your face! LOL.
This liquid soap feels very luxurious, comes in beautiful sampler packaging and there’s 3 different types. Rejuvenating Rose, Energizing Verbena and Firming Sea Fennel, each have its purpose depending on your skinneeds.
I’m currently using Energizing Verbena (as my hand soap oppps) and it smells like I’m staying at a luxury hotel. Yes, it has the type of effect. And may I add that this brand does not contain harmful ingredients and has more than 95% plant oil ingredients. More details here. I’m excited to see how my skin will be with Rejuvenating Rose.
Edge Fit Heart Filler Cream (3ml)
They should have described this as Edge Fit Heart Filler Cream / Awesome Primer for your skin! My goodness. How did I even miss this product?? Ok beauties, here’s what it is. It’s jelly-like, very cooling, and it glides fabulous on your skin leaving it silky-smooth to touch and moist-looking. It hydrates your skin like no other and preps it for your next step, makeup. Honestly, I was gobsmacked (and I rarely used this word).
Before trying it out, the first thing that came to my head, why on earth do I need a ‘filler cream’?? But since I’m a blogger, I had to inspect it and wow! Heart Filler Cream contains hyaluronic acid, argan stem cell extract, witch hazel water and adenosine. And yes, I want more. Please wishtrend, sell the full size product!
Isfren Rx Magic Eye Solution Wise Patch
Not only do I think that this is very cute, this gel patch is also a nice treat for puffiness, aka panda eyes, like mine! It’s very refreshing, non-irritating and although I can’t see whether it got rid of my dark circles instantly, I think I wouldn’t mine trying more of this in future.
CB Cream Natural (3g x2)
Here’s a curious little one. It’s not your BB cream or CC at that, but a CB cream! It’s a wash off type to ‘achieve’ instant whitening! I wasn’t keen on trying this since I don’t really need to go as far as whitening my skin but on second thought, I was thinking perhaps this will correct some of my uneven complexion, eliminate dark spots that I still have, so I tried it finally.
Consider this as your facial mask with one purpose: whitening. You need to apply this as thinly as possible, leave it for a minute or two and wash it off. This feels like you have a light foundation on that you’re trying to wash off with water only, and it feels milky (in this case) and the whitening effect stays on! Instant whitening and yes, apply thinly as possible since you don’t want to look like you just slapped on a lot of sun cream and forgot about it. I’m curious whether this is just temporary or the whitening effect will last the more you use this product. Stay tuned on that.
ElishaCoy Always Nuddy CC Cream (5g)
If you’ve always wanted to see what the fuzz is about with CC creams, and I mean Asian CC creams, ElishaCoy CC is a good start. It’s complete correction with whitening and anti-wrinkle properties with SPF30 PA++ to boot. Summer or winter, you still need your SPF. (more swatches to come) Currently in a Buy 1 Get 1 offer!
Lavida BB Cream Pact (1g)
This is one of the reasons why I wanted this box! Lavida BB Cream Pact is your BB/creamy foundation combined. More coverage than your average BB cream and the sample size is adequate enough to know whether this one’s for you or not. I think I could go one shade darker for this one otherwise, I would have to apply it thinly and blend well for it to work on my skin tone. Nonetheless, I’m glad to tick this off finally.
Last but not the least…
Lion Heart Eau de Toilette
Believe it or not, I’m not the biggest perfume fan but I’m always fascinated to know the fragrances from that side of the world. I still have my Twinkle Rose Perfumelifer that I still love to this date. Lion Heart is supposed to be a unisex fragrance. It consists of sea breeze note (marine, bergamot, cardamon), fresh sparkling note (apricot, sandals) and sexy breeze note (musk, amber). Not keen on musk-y scents but this one is a little bit subtle compare to others I’ve tried. It’s definitely a stronger fragrance compare to my Twinkle Rose, but then if you’re a fan of this type of scent, then this sample is great for traveling.
